  • other information that you voluntarily provide and that is reasonably necessary for the requested service.

2. Purpose of Processing

We may process personal data for purposes including:

  • creating and managing customer accounts;
  • receiving, reviewing, processing and tracking service applications;
  • providing requested business, legal-documentation, tax, registration or compliance assistance;
  • communicating about applications, documents, payments, support and consultations;

  • preventing fraud, misuse, unauthorized access and other security incidents;
  • maintaining business, accounting, audit, dispute and compliance records; and
  • complying with applicable law, lawful requests, regulatory requirements or legal proceedings.

3. Consent and Information You Provide

Where processing is based on your consent, we aim to provide information about the data requested and its purpose at or before collection. Please provide only information and documents that are relevant to the service you request. If you provide personal data relating to another person, you should have appropriate authority or a lawful basis to do so.

4. Payments

Online payments may be processed through an independent payment gateway or payment service provider. LEGAL CENTRE does not intend to collect or store your full card number, CVV, card PIN, OTP or UPI PIN. Payment providers may independently process payment-related information under their own terms and privacy practices.

We may retain transaction-related information made available to us, such as payment status, amount, order/payment reference, invoice information and payment date, for service, accounting, reconciliation, fraud prevention and record-keeping purposes.

5. Documents and Service Information

Documents uploaded for an application may contain personal, financial, business or other sensitive information. We use such documents for the requested service, related support, verification, record keeping and lawful compliance purposes. Users should avoid uploading documents that are unnecessary for the requested service.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We may disclose personal data only where reasonably necessary, including to:

  • hosting, technology, payment, communication or other service providers supporting the platform;
  • appropriately qualified professionals, consultants or authorized service partners where required to perform the service requested by you;
  • government departments, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law; and
  • other persons where you request, authorize or consent to the disclosure.

We do not represent that personal data will be sold as part of our ordinary service model. If our business or assets are reorganized, transferred or acquired, information may be transferred subject to applicable legal requirements and appropriate safeguards.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and access-control measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse. Access to customer application data is restricted through account ownership and administrative controls. However, no website, storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and should never share passwords, OTPs, card PINs or UPI PINs with anyone claiming to represent LEGAL CENTRE.

8. Data Retention

We may retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain application and transaction records, respond to disputes or support requests, protect legal rights, prevent fraud, and satisfy applicable accounting, regulatory or legal obligations. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law, legitimate record-keeping requirements, backups and technical limitations.

9. Cookies, Logs and Similar Technologies

The website may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for login sessions, security, preferences and core website functionality. Our hosting, security or technical infrastructure may also generate server and access logs. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking technologies, we may update our notices and consent mechanisms where required.

10. Your Privacy Requests and Choices

Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may contact us to request information about the processing of your personal data, seek correction or updating of inaccurate data, request deletion/erasure where applicable, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or raise a grievance concerning our handling of personal data.

A request may require reasonable identity verification before we disclose, correct or delete information. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already lawfully carried out and may affect our ability to continue a service where the relevant data is necessary for it.

11. Children

Our services are intended for persons legally capable of requesting the relevant services. We do not knowingly seek personal data from children for independent use of the platform. Where information relating to a child is legitimately required for a service, the person providing it should have appropriate parental, guardian or other lawful authority, and additional requirements under applicable law may apply.

Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies and are not controlled by LEGAL CENTRE. Users should review the relevant third-party terms and privacy notices where appropriate.

13. Cross-Border or Third-Party Processing

Some technology or service providers may process or store information using infrastructure located in different jurisdictions. Where applicable, we will handle such processing subject to applicable legal requirements and any restrictions imposed by competent authorities.

14. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

We intend to handle personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection, information-technology and other relevant laws as they become applicable to our operations. Legal requirements may change over time, and this Policy may be updated to reflect changes in law, regulatory guidance, our services, technology or data-handling practices.
