Terms of Use

Effective date: 29 August 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LEGAL CENTRE website, customer account, application system and related services. By using the website, creating an account, submitting an application, requesting a consultation or service, uploading documents, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced in them.

LEGAL CENTRE is a private service-assistance platform and is not a government authority. Where specialized professional advice, certification, representation or other regulated professional work is required, assistance may be coordinated with an appropriately qualified professional.

1. Scope of Services

LEGAL CENTRE provides service assistance relating to business setup, registrations, documentation, tax and compliance processes and other services displayed on the website. The exact scope of a service may depend on the service selected, the customer's circumstances, documents supplied, applicable requirements and any quotation or communication issued for that application.

A service listing or general website description is informational and does not by itself guarantee that every activity, filing, representation, certification, government fee, professional fee or third-party charge is included in a quoted amount.

2. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide accurate, current and complete information;
  • provide genuine, legible and relevant documents when requested;
  • review information, drafts, forms or declarations before approving or submitting them where your approval is required;
  • respond within a reasonable time to requests for information, clarification, signatures, OTP-based actions or other customer-controlled steps;
  • keep your account credentials confidential and promptly inform us of suspected unauthorized account use; and
  • use the platform only for lawful purposes.

You are responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of information and documents supplied by you or on your behalf. LEGAL CENTRE may rely on information provided by the customer unless there is a reasonable reason to seek clarification or verification.

3. No Guarantee of Approval or Outcome

Submission of an application or payment of a service fee does not guarantee approval, registration, licence, certificate, refund, tax position, legal outcome or any other particular result. Decisions made by government departments, regulators, banks, payment providers, registries, courts, professional bodies or other third parties remain outside LEGAL CENTRE's direct control.

Estimated processing times are indicative unless expressly stated otherwise. Government processing, portal downtime, verification, inspections, third-party responses, regulatory changes, customer delays and other external factors may affect completion times.

4. Quotations, Fees and Additional Charges

Fees shown or quoted for a service apply to the scope communicated for that application. Where additional work becomes necessary because of changed requirements, incomplete or incorrect information, additional filings, resubmission, objections, notices, professional involvement, government charges or other out-of-scope work, additional fees may be quoted before that additional work is undertaken where reasonably practicable.

Government fees, statutory charges, stamp duty, penalties, certification charges, professional fees and third-party expenses are included only when expressly stated as included.

5. Payments

Payments may be collected through third-party payment providers. A payment is treated as successfully received after the relevant transaction is confirmed or verified through the applicable payment process. Failed, reversed, disputed or unauthorized transactions may require further verification.

You should never disclose your password, card PIN, CVV, OTP or UPI PIN to anyone claiming that such disclosure is required by LEGAL CENTRE.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy displayed on this website and by the circumstances of the relevant application. Eligibility may depend on, among other things, whether work has commenced, documents have been reviewed or prepared, professional or third-party work has been initiated, or government/statutory charges have been incurred or paid.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any refund or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

7. Government and Third-Party Portals

Some services may require interaction with government websites, registries, payment systems or other third-party platforms. Their availability, technical performance, processing rules, verification procedures and decisions are controlled by those third parties. LEGAL CENTRE is not responsible for third-party outages, changes or decisions that are outside its reasonable control, but may provide reasonable assistance relating to the requested service.

8. Professional Services and Coordination

Information displayed on the website is general service information and should not be treated as individualized legal, tax, accounting or other regulated professional advice unless such advice is expressly provided by an appropriately qualified professional in the relevant engagement. Where required, LEGAL CENTRE may coordinate with such professionals for specific portions of a service.

9. Communications and Electronic Records

You agree that service-related communications may be provided electronically through your account, application dashboard, email, mobile communication, support system or other contact details supplied by you. You are responsible for keeping those details reasonably current.

Application records, electronic confirmations, transaction references, support communications and system records may be retained as evidence of service activity, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

10. Prohibited Use

You must not use the website or services to:

  • submit forged, fraudulent, misleading or unlawfully obtained information or documents;
  • impersonate another person or act without appropriate authority;
  • violate applicable law or facilitate unlawful activity;
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases or administrative areas;
  • introduce malware, interfere with website operation or circumvent security controls; or
  • misuse website content, branding or services in a manner that infringes the rights of LEGAL CENTRE or others.

We may refuse, suspend or discontinue assistance where we reasonably believe a request is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, technically unsafe, outside our service scope, or cannot reasonably be performed.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, branding, logos, original website content, software presentation and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to LEGAL CENTRE and may not be copied, reproduced, misrepresented or commercially exploited without appropriate permission. This does not claim ownership over government forms, laws, third-party trademarks or other material owned by their respective rights holders.

12. Privacy and Documents

Personal data and uploaded documents are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You should upload only documents reasonably required for your requested service and should not send passwords, card PINs, OTPs or UPI PINs.

13. Service Availability and Changes

We may maintain, modify, suspend or discontinue website features or service offerings where reasonably necessary. Service descriptions may also change to reflect changes in law, government procedures, technology, pricing or operational requirements. Changes will not remove rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LEGAL CENTRE is not liable for losses caused solely by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer, customer delay, unauthorized customer account use not attributable to our failure to use reasonable safeguards, third-party or government decisions, portal outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LEGAL CENTRE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the platform or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights or remedies where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

15. Customer Responsibility for Third-Party Claims

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for claims, losses or costs resulting from your intentional unlawful use of the service, fraudulent submissions, infringement of another person's rights, or material breach of these Terms. This provision does not require you to assume responsibility for losses caused by LEGAL CENTRE where such responsibility cannot lawfully be shifted to you.

16. Complaints and Disputes

If you have a service complaint or dispute, please first contact LEGAL CENTRE through the Contact page or the available customer support system so that we have an opportunity to review and resolve the matter.

These Terms are intended to operate subject to applicable laws of India. Any jurisdiction or dispute-resolution provision that may be added for LEGAL CENTRE should remain subject to mandatory consumer, statutory and other rights that apply to the relevant customer or dispute.

17. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict or suspend account or service access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, unlawful use, material breach of these Terms, non-payment of an agreed fee, or protection of the platform or other users. Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we may allow the customer an opportunity to resolve the relevant issue.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, law, regulation, technology or business operations. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective or last-updated date. Material changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms or a particular service may be submitted through the Contact page. Existing customers may also use the support features available in their account.

Last updated: 29 August 2026. These Terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and any service-specific quotation, scope or communication applicable to your request.
